In the
younger days of TalkTemari we had a most talented stitcher among us -
Susan Leishman. Sue has since moved on to other craft persuits but
while she was into temari she created a number of super original
patterns as well as interpreted several from the Japanese books. Sue
had shared these patterns and interpretations at no charge on her own
website for a number of years.
Susan discontinued her website in July
2004 but she has been most generous by writing and offering to me
all of her files - to which I replied that I
would be most honored to adopt them and repost on TemariKai, under her
name and copyright, with deep appreciation. She was a most
inspirational member of the group and it is only fitting and proper
that she retain the rights to her work. I am most appreciative that she
has entrusted TemariKai.com with their care, and very grateful on
behalf of all of us temari stitchers that keep winding that she
bequeathed the patterns so that we may keep enjoying and using them.
Unfortunately the transfer is not as
simple as it might seem since Sue used a proprietary webpage builder
for her pages; therefore we pretty much have to start over building the
pages but buidling we are. You will continue to see this list grow as I
get them all reconstructed. And to Sue - we thank you, very much.
